Vintage OAK 15 Drawer Card File Cabinet Apothecary Parts Storage Cabinet Chest

This is the second of three matching stacking card file cabinets that I have. This cabinet has solid oak drawer fronts with heavy aluminum drawer pulls. The drawers are dovetailed construction.

This was in a school library and by some miracle the kids never damaged the drawer fronts! The inside of the drawers appears to be solid maple. The sides are an oak veneer. The top and back are solid unfinished wood. If desired you could stain that wood to match the fronts.

This cabinet has metal rods that were for file cards that had holes in the bottom of the cards so that if you removed and dropped a drawer none of the cards would fall out. The rods are removable to give you more storage in the drawers. All of the metal slides are present.

Each drawer weighs 2 1/2 pounds. Overall I would say this cabinet weighs about 90 pounds. The cabinet is 13" tall, 33" wide and 17 deep. The drawers are 3 1/2" tall inside, 5 1/8" wide and 15 deep. A wine bottle fits in the drawer nicely.

This cabinet is for local pick-up. I delivered the last one.
